Mission

The National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) is a non-profit organization, which fosters Hispanic leadership through graduate management education and professional development.

The Chicago Chapter of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs established its Summer Enrichment Program (SEP) in 1992 to promote business education and the professional advancement within the Hispanic community.

About Summer Enrichment Program (SEP):

  • The SEP promotes higher education and professional advancement for Hispanic high school students.

  • SEP seeks to motivate local Hispanic high school students to achieve their goals by providing mentoring and support in a university setting.

  • The SEP promotes in the students development of leadership and maintain clear sense of purpose.

  • SEP provides awareness of people and companies who works closely with Hispanic community.

Application

SUMMER ENRICHMENT PROGRAM APPLICATION

Classes begins July 1st to July 31st

Deadline for applications May 15th.

Requirements

To qualify to be enrolled in the program the student must have:

  • Hispanic heritage
  • Sophomore or Junior years
  • 3.0 GPA or above
  • Letter of recommendation from school
  • Good attendance during school classes

 Scholarships for High School Seniors

In addition to completing college applications, taking standardized tests and finishing school with a strong GPA, high school seniors should also devote some time to apply for scholarships. Resources

Courses

Program Description

SEP is a four-week program that start on July 1st and ended on July 31st. Classes for the program are held at DePaul University (downtown campus). The following is an overview of the class schedule this summer.
